Hamilton Hudson is licensed by the Czech National Bank to arrange Travel Medical Insurance and Foreigners Comprehensive Health Insurance in the Czech Republic.
Insurance companies must be authorized by the Ministry of Interior for approving a Czech Visa or Residency Permit.
Hamilton Hudson is directly contracted to represent every insurance company authorized by the Ministry of Interior.

Pojišťovna VZP is ranked number one for foreigners and was founded in Prague on January 16, 2004 by the state public health insurance company VZP ČR
The chairman of PVZP worked tirelessly in close collaboration with Hamilton Hudson’s founder and successfully designed and built the first Foreigners Health Insurance plans in the Czech Republic with a local network of English speaking doctors, culminating in the launch of VZPforForeigners.cz which is administered by Hamilton Hudson to support both PVZP a.s. and VZP ČR

Slavia pojišťovna was founded in 1868. The symbolic name Slavia, personifying the ideal of Slavic reciprocity and solidarity.
An important milestone was the company’s entry into the SPGroup, becoming a member in April 2006. The new owner, Capital Management Company, a.s. – a member of SPGroup, is a company with many years of successful operation in the Czech Republic insurance market.
SV pojišťovna was was founded in 1994 under the name VICTORIA pojišťovna, as and subsequently renamed ERGO pojišťovna, as in 2012 As the holder of a universal insurance license, SV pojišťovna offers its clients a wide portfolio of insurance products, specializing in travel insurance, health insurance for foreigners, pilot liability insurance and extended warranty insurance. Since November 4, 2021, ERGO pojišťovna has been the owner of SV Holding AG.Sparkassen-Versicherung headquartered in Stuttgart.
Uniqa pojišťovna was founded as "Czecho-Austrian Insurance Company". It started insurance operations on 1 July 1993 with a share capital of CZK 50 million, which was invested in the company by the shareholders, the Austrian insurance concern Versicherungsanstalt der Oesterreichischen Bundeslaender AG and the Czech Agrobanka Praha, a.s.. Agrobanka's share was later bought out. Part of the shares were acquired by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development as a financial investor in the form of a capital increase for about eight years. In Austria, they subsequently merged with Austria Collegialitaet and Raiffeisen Versicherung into a holding with the working name BARC, which in 1999 adopted the completely new trade mark UNIQA. In 2007, UNIQA International AG became a 100% shareholder.
