Hamilton|Hudson was established in New York City in 1897 as a Marine Insurance Company managing the risks of the major ocean cargo lines that transported goods through the harbor
that was Gateway to the new world and the bridge to Europe.
In 1996 a new management team restructured the company with an aggressive new strategy to expand the focus of the firm and enter new markets in both domestic and international industries.
Hamilton|Hudson quickly became a leader in the health insurance field by introducing innovative techniques in structure, design and administration. At the same time we also expanded our markets to include all forms of insurance and administrative services to both businesses and individuals.
Our guiding principle is- Loyalty always lies with the client, not with the insurance carrier. We work for the client. Without the client, we don’t exist.
We have enjoyed substantial growth in the past decade due to this client centric approach and through a creative negotiation strategy with our partners in the industry with an emphasis on Client Service.
In 2000, we opened our first overseas office in Paris to cater to the needs of international business in Western Europe and expatriate individuals who made France their new home.
In 2001, we expanded eastward and opened our second European office in Prague to pursue the emerging markets in the CEE - Countries of Eastern Europe and serve the insurance needs of multi-national corporations, SME firms and individual expats.
In 2007, we expanded even further east and established ourselves in Kiev with a focus on the CIS countries of the former Soviet Union.
Today, our clients enjoy the resources of our extended network throughout Europe and the US, where we deliver insurance products from a vast selection of markets that are not available to the general marketplace.
Our newest challenge is to capitalize on our expertise and global network to combine quality products of reputable, domestic insurance carriers and supplement them with excess benefits with a global reach by integrating these locally based products with larger international insurance markets.m This will give the client and partner firms access to benefits and services not currently available
